Multi-level Garden
Project Description
Plants & Other Materials Used
This house garden exists in Geri, outside Nicosia and is situated on a slope that descents towards a small river. The challenge was to come up with exciting new ways of how the level change structure could be. The result were many concepts but the most interesting one was the most complicated as well. The garden is divided in three different levels with a formal plate path leading through a double staircase between planters to the lowest level and the back garden; moreover, a more immediate, wider synthetic-grass path leads to the back side of the pool. Generally the shapes that were drawn into the design created many intimate areas for resting which are also in key viewing spots in the garden.
